The 6^th ISST International Seminar of Science and Technology

In celebration of the 42^nd Anniversary of Universitas Terbuka (UT), the Faculty of Science and Technology will host the 6^th International Seminar of Science and Technology (ISST) 2026. This event will be held in conjunction with the Annual Meeting of the Association of State Universities in the Western Region of Indonesia for Mathematics and Natural Sciences (SEMIRATA BKS PTN Barat).

The rapid advancement of science and technology, alongside with increasing environmental and resource-related challenges, requires stronger collaboration among universities, research institutions, industries, and governments to develop innovative and evidence-based solutions. Addressing environmental challenges through sustainable resource management, technological innovation, and resilient regional development has become urgently in supporting sustainable development at both national and global levels. In Indonesia, this vision aligns with national development priorities through the Asta Cita framework, which supports the achievement of Golden Indonesia 2045.

The 6^th International Seminar of Science and Technology (6^th ISST 2026) aims to provide an international platform for researchers, academics, practitioners, policymakers, and industry partners to exchange knowledge, present research findings, and foster interdisciplinary collaboration in advancing science and technology for sustainable environment and resource management. Through scientific discussions and collaborative research, ISST 2026 seeks to promote innovative solutions for sustainable environment and resource management while addressing current global challenges.
