About 6th ISST
In celebration of the 42nd Anniversary of Universitas Terbuka (UT), the Faculty of Science and Technology will host the 6th International Seminar on Science and Technology (ISST) 2026. This event will be held in conjunction with the Annual Meeting of the Association of State Universities in the Western Region of Indonesia for Mathematics and Natural Sciences (SEMIRATA BKS PTN Barat).
The rapid advancement of science and technology requires universities, research institutions, industries, and governments to continuously adapt to emerging global challenges. One of the most strategic approaches receiving global attention is the strengthening of STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics) as a fundamental pillar in driving sustainable innovation. In Indonesia, this vision aligns with national development priorities through the Asta Cita framework, which supports the achievement of Indonesia Emas (Golden Indonesia) 2045.
The 6th ISST 2026 aims to provide a platform for scholars, practitioners, and stakeholders to collaborate, share ideas, research findings, and innovations that support sustainable development through STEM.
