The 5th International Seminar of Science and Technology (ISST) is calling for papers with the theme “Advancing Science and Technology for a Sustainable and Resilient Future” from academics, professionals, and students in the space of science and technology around the world.

Submission Guideline for authors:

Papers submitted to ISST must be an original article, not previously published and not under any consideration for publication (in a journal, proceeding, book, etc.). when submitting their papers to our conference, authors are discouraged to submitting their work to other publication during the review period.
Authors must follow the COPE guideline when submitting their article.
Papers must be genuine and do not plagiarize any other work. Any data, images or graph that is not of own work must be cited correctly. The papers will be analyzed for plagiarism using a plagiarism checker (Turnitin). The minimum acceptable level of plagiarism is 20%.
Authors are only allowed submit articles IOP Proceeding. This includes as co-authors.
For presenters without publication intention, submitting an abstract is still mandatory.
Authors must pay for registration after their abstract is accepted. additionally, authors for IOP Proceeding must pay for the publishing fee after their paper is confirmed. Paying in advance is not allowed and refund will not be available if the abstract/paper is rejected.
Please follow the instruction in the registration form when registering and use active phone number and email for the purpose of editorial and communication during the review period.
Any change and retraction must be communicated to the editorial team properly.
Articles published with IOP Proceeding will have an extra publishing fee (Rp. 2200000,- or 150 USD)

Publication process:

The articles will be reviewed using a double-blind review process.
The estimated workflow is shown on the graph below.
Accepted papers will be published on:
1. Articles that meet the required standards will be forwarded to IOP Conference Series: Earth and Environmental Science (EES).
2. For articles that do not qualify for submission to IOP Conference Series: Earth and Environmental Science (EES), it is suggested that the authors consider submitting them to one of the journals available at the Faculty of Science and Technology, Universitas Terbuka.
